Kenzie had a rough past at 22 she had just gotten out of jail and had started working on the Yellowstone Dutton ranch. At the age of 14, she took the rap for her mother. Growing up, her father abused her, her mother, and her 2 younger sisters. Her mother tried and tried to leave but their father would always find them and no one helped them so one night her mother shot her father and she framed herself for the murder of her father they sent her to jail giving her minimum they could. Her mother hated that she did it but it was a case of she said he said and she got her little sisters say that she did it her mother wasn't a bad mom just a person in a bad situation. She never talked about her past they knew she was in jail for murder and no one really asked about it cause she refused to talk about it.
