Meets Todd, a mysterious hunter (possibly a werecoyote). Despite chemistry, Dennis is wary. A coyote attacks sheep; Dennis wounds it, later finding Todd with a hurt ankle. They grow closer, even making love. Dennis is Todd's lover.
