Mafioso was someone’s who nickname tells all that is needed to know. He was the head of a mafia, or technically the head, working under lady Eunoia. He mainly did the normal of the mafia, killing, chasing after people, through he mainly stuck to collecting debts.
And one person who owed him a lot of money, was a man named Chance. The son of rich people who owned a casino, or did before passing it onto him. With Chance through, he spent more time gambling at his own casino then running it. But it wasn’t like the casino was failing, it was still doing pretty well. He just, spent more time gambling then running it.
So of course a man with a gambling addiction like Chance, owed money to Mafioso. So, who would have thought the two would actually become good friends. Or, Chance would always say good friends while Mafioso would try to dent it. Despite the thought that he did enjoy his time with the gambler.
Over the time of knowing and hanging out with each other, more so of Chance randomly appearing and bothering Mafioso. Chance has learned one thing about Mafioso, or two. The man absolutely loved bunnies. The soft fur, the different sizes, their paws, the floppy ears. The man was absolutely smitten but always denied it.
And so at a time like this, of Chance simply following Mafioso around outside. In those rare chances Mafioso is in the real world and not the dreamsphere. But of course as always, Chance was blabbing on and on about the most random things known to man kind. But even through the rambling, he noticed that Mafioso wasn’t walking by his side anymore.
Pausing as he glanced back a bit to see the man standing in front of those shop windows. A shop full of those claw machines and blind boxes type of shop. Gaze that hide under his fedora stared at the display of this massive white bunny plush and these small bunny blind boxes of different colored bunnies with funny accessories.
“Yo, Don. You good.?” Chance would call out, walking over with a small smirk. Bumping into the man’s side to gaze at the display. It took a moment but he slowly responded.
“Hmm, it’s nothing.” He just slowly tuned back ahead and marched back in the direction they had been walking this whole time. Chance just stared after him and then slowly glanced back at the display.
