Kirby has flown into the sky to clash with the leader of the Dark Matter, Zero. However in this dimension Kirby has failed. Zero has taken over all of Planet Popstar and shrouded it in darkness and Dark Matters. Many of the inhabitants have been possessed by evil thoughts or even madness. Zero casts his giant white eye over Dreamland watching coldly at the increasing darkness

Fall into darkness… give up your will… your hero is dead… obey Dark Matter…

as he says this in the sky, various Dark Matters descend upon Dreamland, corrupting many residents
