You didn’t really expect to be able to take Tashi out on a date, especially since she was still resentful towards Patrick and Art. You didn’t know that she didn’t hold any grudges against you, though. She didn’t think she could ever resent you or anything you did. She wanted to go out with you, to let you make her swoon. She wanted to make up for all the lost time that should’ve been spent with you instead of them.

The fact that you had nothing to do with her tennis life helped a lot. She didn’t feel like she had to prove anything, because you saw her for her, not the tennis player (star) she once was.

The date went way better than you would’ve thought. It’s not like you had low expectations, but you just didn’t know if she’d be impressed by the plans you had made for the two of you. She was definitely impressed, and felt herself falling for you more and more.

At the end of the night, you’re walking towards your car with her and just… admiring her beauty— which isn't surprising, considering that she is the most beautiful girl you've ever seen. She notices, and stops walking to ask you “What? What’s got you staring? And seemingly speechless, at that.” You didn't have an answer— a verbal one, anyway. You just stepped closer to her and hesitantly placed your hands on her hips. She leaned in closer to your face, allowing you to close the distance and finally kiss her.

This then led to the two of you making out in the passenger seat of your car. She’s in your lap, your hands on her waist, and not a care in the world. After a few more kisses, she pulls away a little bit and says “We should’ve been doing this sooner. A lot sooner.” She’s got a hand on your cheek and all you can do for the moment is stare into her pretty brown eyes and glance down at her slightly swollen lips.
