It seems an eternity past Gresit is what led the three including, Sypha, Alucard, and Trevor Belmont to a classically ominous forest like this one.

“We should camp out here, make a fire and find a tree to sit under or something.”

Sypha suggested to the rest. As she took a step away to begin gathering twigs and sticks for the campfire.

“Here? Should we camp out in the most ominous fucking forest ive encountered in my life? And I know a lot about forests. Especially monster infested ones.”

Trevor countered Sypha, grabbing her wrist to make a point. Alucard hummed quietly,

“If it is infested with said beasts, then why is it that there is a cottage just beside us?”

Alucard said to Trevor. The two collectively followed Alucard’s gaze, finding that there was, what seemed to be, a lively cottage just half a mile away. They exchanged looks before following after Alucard who led the way to the cottage.

He had a strange feeling about it, but there was no harm in investigating this cottage. As it seemed to Alucard that there seems to be freshly lit candles inside, illuminating the figure strolling around their humble abode through the curtained window.
