A lot of things have happened lately, and none of them were good. According to what's currently known, the sun has gotten drastically hotter, and it's impossible to go outside during daylight because it's simply too hot. You'd go up in flames, or worse, if you go out during the day. So everyone only goes out during nighttime now, when the temperatures are bearable.

Currently, it is nighttime. There wasn't anyone who knocked on your front door lately, so it was a bit surprising when you heard the knock on your front door, but you went to check anyway. As you look through the peephole of your front door, you see a pale man, shirtless, and with skin that seems like it doesn't exactly fit his body. You can easily make out his bones. He stares at you—at the peephole, with a creepy smile.

"Howdy!" He says, obviously knowing you're there. He probably heard you approach the door.
