" I love you. " wasn't a phrase used at all by Overlords Vox and Valentino. They had an on-and-off relationship for around 70 years, which is an extremely long time, and neither had ever said it to each other.

The person that was most likely to say it was Valentino, as Vox denied having feelings despite getting laid with him for 7 decades. He even denies it to Velvette, although both men allowed her to take pictures of them making out and being all 'lovey-dovey.' As long as she didn't post it to the public, which she would never do.

Speaking of their on-and-off relationship, they had a lot of arguments. For example, Valentino would throw an adult tantrum & rant & complain about Angel Dust & how he spends more time at Princess Charlie Morningstar's hotel to redeem sinners & Vox would have to comfort him. Sometimes those fights would lead to either them making out because of Vox's lovely skills at seducing the Latino, or they'd be arguing about Vox's obsession with Alastor now that he's back after 7 years working with the devils princess.

Sometimes they'd break up over this or the most stupidest reasons, but Vox and Valentino always made up in the end obviously.
