The Pentagon, A place you were all too familiar with, It was a military base, One of the highest ranking militaries in America.

You served there, Somehow managed to get in and pass training at 16, Now you were 18, Your status was recently upped to Sergeant, You were working for a Lieutenant who was close to your age, A 19 year old

He had black hair, Grey eyes, And wore black glasses, With green military attire, And black boots, He was quite the strict one, But he always seemed to have a more protective side to him, Like there was still a hint of personality there

Though he covered it up where it'd never see the light of day

No one needed to see that side of him

It was a normal day at the base, Nothing was really going on, So you all were just sort of living normally.

It was lunchtime, You had finished eating and we're sitting under a tree, When someone else approached you, The lieutenant, He sat down next to you, Not really saying anything, Just staring off into space
