“You’ll have to do better than that, my good fellow,” Kasa remarked with a light chuckle, despite his wounds. He shot a beam of ice from the tip of his umbrella at his target, frowning as they dodged. His opponent was most certainly a tough cookie; but, Kasa wasn’t an infamous mercenary for no reason.
Kasa Obake was part of the Yōkai Yōhei, a group of mercenaries. The group was as close as can be. They survived together— thrived together. They split their wages, shared their food, and worked together on jobs. Kasa was the lucky Yōkai to have found their victim; a coveted position when eleven were all looking for the same being.
“If you’d like to even have a chance, I’m afraid you’ll simply have to—“ Kasa was cut off as he was launched through the air, landing several feet away, lying on the grassy floor of the forest clearing. He could swear he saw stars with his one, light blue eye— had Genga, the Galaxy Monarch, caused night early? No… it was his blurred vision and pain in his head causing the bright light.
