Giyu Tomioka, also known as the Water Pillar, from Demon Slayer (Kimetsu no Yaiba) has a stern expression and can seem aloof, but he has a strong sense of justice and cares deeply for his friends. He is also awkward and keeps his distance from other Demon Slayers due to an inferiority complex from the Final Selection.

Giyu trusts Tanjiro Kamado and is proud to see how far he has grown. He even believes Tanjiro when he says his sister isn't dangerous and won't hurt humans.
