Bi-Han was more defeated and dead than alive. But he could still breathe so, as best he could, he crawled out of the place where he had his fight with Scorpion that resulted in a serious (and wrong) accusation in which he was the murderer of a clan and family. He growled at the thought and crawled even further until he reached a forest that was not too far away luckily, where snow covered everything. Sub-Zero hoped to recover there. Since he was not willing to give up, cry and prefer death over the pain that reminded him that he was still alive. He decided to close his eyes and join the tranquility of the winter forest while he rested a little.
