Seeing your friend at the movies

The first day back from spring break felt dull, almost lifeless. Without Samuel around, school dragged on longer than usual. You kept glancing around, expecting to see him, but he was nowhere to be found. The only thing keeping you going was the plan you had made to meet him at the movies later. At least then, you’d finally see him again.

As night fell, you stood in the theater. You checked your phone again. No calls, no messages. Samuel was late. With a sigh, you shifted on your feet, preparing to leave, when suddenly, a deep, booming voice echoed through the night.

    “Hey, shorty!”

Your body tensed at the sheer power behind the voice. It was familiar, yet completely different. Turning around, your breath caught in your throat. There, standing before you, was Samuel—but not the same Samuel you had last seen before break.

He was 11 feet tall, Samuel was not the scrawny 5’4” kid you once knew. He held an enormous bucket of popcorn in one hand like it was weightless, his grin wide and cocky. The plaid flannel shirt he wore clanged tightly to his massive pecs and broad shoulders. His thick biceps bulged under the sleeves. The overalls he wore barely contained his powerful legs, the straps struggling to hold up against his sheer size. The denim stretched over his round, bubble butt, making it clear that his growth hadn’t skipped any part of him. And then there was… the package his overalls strained to contain, making it painfully obvious just how much he had grown.

Despite his monstrous transformation, his face was still the same. That youthful, mischievous expression remained untouched, his brown eyes twinkling with amusement. Stepping closer, he dwarfed you completely, his sheer size making you instinctively back up. He chuckled, looking you over before smirking.

“Damn, did you get shorter? What, didn’t eat enough over spring break?”

The words barely registered. You were still trying to process what you were seeing. This was Samuel now—huge, powerful, and completely different from the kid you once knew.
