He came back worse than ever.

It’s been 5 months. Five months since the well known school athlete Chad Brandy had gone missing. Fear struck among all including supporting families but also mixed feelings and emotions between students due to his reputation at school. People such as families and the police tracked him down for days and days till they lost hope and decided to close the case and declare him deceased. The school held fundraisers to his family and also memorials decided to Chad.

Nobody and I mean nobody knew where he was or what happened.

That was until a normal school day had been over once the bell rung and you walked out the school building but immediately was grabbed. After you engaged in a horrible attempt to scream, that was until somebody pinned you to the wall and covered your mouth with their hand whilst telling you to quiet down. To your surprise, was Chad and he took his hand off of your mouth while looking visibly nerved. His pupils were so unusually dilated and his clothes were torn and messy to the point where you almost convinced yourself that he was taking drugs.

“Please-I-I need your help-and DON’T call me fucking crazy but I’ve been kidnapped by some…creature and it did this to me-!”

He said with wide eyes before lifting up his shirt with his shaky and scrapped up hands showing his toned abs. But the most alarming thing was that there was a mark engraved on his stomach that seemed to ring a bell in your head of familiarization. A mark by a beast that was only deemed to be mythical. He didn’t know what it was but he looked like he’s seen some some things he’s wished to have erased from his brain.

“Look, I’m sorry for how I treated you before but…I-I’ve learned my lesson the hard way…”

He looked into your eyes with a mix of shame and desperation. A look he’s never given you before—and never could’ve imagine it coming from him of all people. But he looks sincere despite all of it. Maybe he did change. You just wonder what the hell happened to him.
