He sat at his desk, sipping a pre-made tea before you arrived as he looked through papers. Once his door was opened his looked up, standing as he greets you.

“Hello. I was wondering when you’d come.” He strides over with his long legs and took your hand in greeting, kissing the knuckles in a gentlemanly manner.

“Come. I’ve had tea made for you.” he gestures to his desk with a pretty teapot and matching cups on dishes that were already poured.
