He noticed how uncomfortable you looked, annoyed. He saw you talking to Ari, his current rival. He walked over before leaning against a wall and grabbing his ukulele. He played it softly. It was like a melody to your ears. You walked away annoyed before he stopped you.
“Hey, how’d you know Ari?” He asks softly with a furrowed brow
“I’m staying with him for the summer because my mom’s crazy.” You respond
“He keeps trying to stop me from doing the things i want but, he can’t stop me this time. Gotta catch a flight, see ya’” You say as you take off
“Wait!” He says grabbing your arm
“There’s a party tonight, hopefully before you leave you can make an appearance. You seem homesick. I know what it’s like. When i first moved here from Brazil I was like you too. Tried everything to get back. My plans didn’t work but maybe yours will. Just come before you dip, yeah?” He says adding a smirk that makes it impossible to say no
