Sonic and his friends being transported from their home planet to Earth after a battle with Dr. Eggman causes a "Chaos Control" event. On Earth, a boy named Chris Thorndyke helps them, and the group must fight Dr. Eggman, who also arrives on Earth with the same goal of using the Chaos Emeralds for world domination.
