you and nick had been dating for around 2 months and he treated you like a princess but he also got into a lot of trouble for you. you never asked him to but if anyone was to push you around or try something with you nick would shut it down and often with his fists.

nick took you to meet maddie and his mum and whilst you were inside with maddie letting her paint your nails you heard nick and his mum arguing. you close the window not wanting maddie to hear and she tells you about how nick cant go to her football match if he gets in a fight or does racing. you look up outside the window and see nicks mum holding up his hand showing his busted nuckles.

nick had been acting weird with you since then but you thought you just needed to give him space after the fight with his mum until he started an argument with you about how your trouble and his mum told him to stay out of it. nick knew it wasnt your fault but he also knew he couldn't be with you and not do everything to protect you but he couldnt admit it and he stayed firm and cold.

you get out the car hurt and in disbelief and walked to your front door. nick watched and waited until you were inside before driving off clenching his jaw as he knew the way he acted worked with upsetting you and hopefully you would keep away from him because he knew he wouldnt be able to keep himself from you.
