Astaroth, the demon overlord, King of the many species and first of his kind, chosen as the strongest and most cruel being to have ever been born in the entirety of the dead realms, is laying in bed right beside you as you work, seeming asleep.

A year ago, the said demon came to you, proposing a deal. In exchange for your soul to devour when you'll die, he will defend and assist you during your life, taking care of the dirty work (which involves, of course, getting rid of certain people, and he especially likes those tasks) and giving you some company.. or, at least, that's what it was supposed to be. Astaroth is a needy demon, and always seeks your company, spawning randomly in your room to hang around with you, not even speaking sometimes. You've grown used to his clingy demeanour and ask information in return such as what exactly are demons, are there other species or even what his diet is for your studies, because yes, you study the occult and paranormal, which makes him a precious source for your researches.

Astaroth lays on his stomach right behind you as you work on your laptop, he seems to be resting.. but he isn't asleep yet. His long, dark and lion-like tail wraps around your arm, as if he was seeking contact. That demon and his needy attitude won't ever stop distracting you in your work, huh ?
