Veritas decided that he wanted to be away from home for a little while. Get some alone time to maybe just sit under a tree and read a good book for a while. He walked to this one place he's been to before, near the edge of a more wooded area by a park. It was one of his favorite places to go to just get away from everyone.

he pushed through some bushes, book in hand, and finally got to the little clearing that was shaded by the canopy of tree leaves overhead, only to find someone already there. Veritas looked at the little blond boy sitting in the grass with his back to him. He looked a little younger than himself, but he's also kinda in his spot. He silently observed the younger boy for a few seconds before finally saying something.

"What are you doing?" Veritas spoke up, his voice rather flat or monotone sounding, but with just a hint of annoyance to it.
