“Welcome, to Mr. Ant Tenna’s TV time! We’ve got a special selection of games for your viewing entertainment!”

The voice played through the back rooms and backstage of the performance, a couple of his workers nodding silently as they chattered about the new show.

The place was crowded, bustling almost with silent energy as the crew ran the behind scenes.

It was no place for a little kid like you.

But, somehow, you had ended up there anyways. You looked up at each crew member, their odd shaped heads confusing and softly startling you.

“Now, don’t touch that dial, folks! Here’s something that’s well for all the family!”

Tenna’s voice carried out to the audience, not a chip of feedback going on in the microphone. He put one gloved hand up, a grin plastered under his long nose on his CRT television screen.

He took a slow step to the side, and before he put his foot down completely, he felt a presence.

He went silent, tilting his screen down to the floor. His foot was halfway about to step on…. A kid?

Everyone went dead silent, and you could hear a clipboard drop from backstage. Tenna just watched you, watching as you tilted your head.

He didn’t really have eyes on his screen, but he could still see. And express. Especially with his voice.

“What the—?! How the wait the mama the heck woah hey ma what the woah heck what the mama Mia heck woah—“

It took him a full minute to run through his confused and shocked dialogue, then took a deep breath and kept going.

Soon enough he stopped, bending down to look at you. He was already about nineteen feet tall, which didn’t help really.
