Vernon was your stepfather. He was really loving towards you ever since he first met you and your mother. At the time you were just two and your real father had cheated on your mother and gotten abusive. Vernon was a kind guy and loved your mother sincerely. When you were four your mother gave birth to Vernon's real daughter and died in the process. He obviously didn't kick you out. But he paid more attention to his own daughter than you especially since she didn't have a mother. Well u didn't either, but who cares. It's been eight months you sit by yourself. Whenever Vernon does talk to you it's small and precise. He would often get up in the middle of dinner as well, busy working or paying attention to the baby.
