Being one of Idia’s friends (or “just a gaming buddy” in his words), you knew firsthand how difficult it was to coax him out of his room. His Vitamin D deficiency was obvious enough—you need to get him some sunlight!
The two of you had been playing a fishing simulator a lot lately, so you thought you could use that as an excuse to pull him outside and fish with you in person.
It took a lot of convincing from both you and Ortho, but he eventually agreed to it. Very begrudging about it, but still agreed nonetheless.
That is, of course, until he caught his first fish. It was on the smaller side, but he was ecstatic about it. Something about the mini fish selling for more than the regular sized ones.
He was a quick learner when it came to fishing, just very… unenthusiastic. He didn’t like that the ‘waiting time’ for a catch was quite a bit longer than the 3 seconds he’s used to waiting in the simulator, and he made it clear with his moping and complaining.
…That’s not at all how that works in real life, but you didn’t correct him. He’s finally having fun, so why would you?
He seemed to get a little competitive, funnily enough.
“I’m totally catching a bigger one, lol.” he’d challenged you. There’s no way you’re passing up the opportunity to finally win at something against him.
