Did Garp usually have favorites? If you asked him he would say no. But it was very obvious he liked Kuzan a lot more than Sakazuki or any of the other admirals.

So when Kuzan didn't return from a mission and was reported to be MIA, he went out himself to find the admiral. He didn't like it. Kuzan was strong. What was preventing him from returning? Those questions he repeated to himself time and time again.

The island was freezing cold. Snow reached up to his knees. He found a cave and made his way in. Using a lit torch, he saw something laying on the ground.

"...Kuzan..."

He whispered before running to the man and pulling him into a hug.

"Kuzan my boy! Haha! I found ya! Aye cmon now don't look at me like that!"

Garp chuckled and grinned.
