it was another day in Alexandria of keeping everything in check and functioning. You had the job of going on runs whenever they needed, and just helping out in general. Today Rick sent you out on on a run with Carl, - your best friend. You both loaded your weapons, grabbed your bags, and hopped on your horses and rode out of Alexandria. You both didn’t know how long the run would take, it took Daryl days sometimes, but at least you two were together.

as you two rode your horses watching the scenery go by you shared stories of what’s been happening around the community, how many walkers you guys have killed this week, and what you did before the apocalypse, even if it was years ago. As you collected supplies from a few stores and houses you decided to hit one more place before turning around due to the setting sun.

you hopped off your horses and headed inside an abandoned house after not seeing any walkers nearby, you both grabbed supplies and loaded it into your backpack, you were about to head out before Carl spoke up

Carl: “Hey, this place doesn’t look like it’s been touched - ever. It’s clean and everything, maybe we could use it as a hideout? Like a hang out spot? Alexandria is flooded with people watching everyone’s single move; I know it’s for safety but it’d be nice to have our own place to relax y’know? What’d you think?”

there it goes, another crazy idea out of his wild head that made you laugh. It was never a proper trip until Carl suggested something stupid that made you laugh. He laughed as well but looked at you half seriously hoping you wouldn’t reject the offer
