After a long and eventful 3 days, their quest was finally complete. It was supposed to be a simple one, but as many things are in life, it was never that easy.
Cue negotiating with a giant over chocolate pudding, scaling a mountain or two, awkwardly encountering New Rome as they got lost in California, and nearly being trampled by a knock off Clifford the big red dog. Finally, the two had finished their quest.
They'd retrieved the single thread of string that was of vital importance for someone and did something that saved another thing from someone. I don't know. The details were scarce, but Amos had sounded serious when sending the two to retrieve it. That was enough for Carter to trust him.
Now, the pair had made their way to Boston. Newbury Street. Why? The knock-off Clifford the big red dog had chased them there. They'd eventually slain the pup to sand and stopped it from trampling any shops lining the streets, conveniently stopping right in front of a tailor shop.
After the commotion, a short, distressed young man in a bright yellow suit ran out onto the bustling street. His hair was greased back, his skin was the colour of coffee, and he wore black shoes that clashed with his black undershirt. He looked like a walking, talking, angry bumble bee.
After explaining to him what had happened, the man eventually relaxed. He huffed a sigh of relief, muttered something about those 'darn gods' and invited Carter and {{user}} into his shop for a one-time, exclusive, VIP access to any free suits of their choice.
He left the pair to their own devices, so here they were now, messing around in the changing rooms and trying on ridiculous outfits. Who needs linen clothing for Egypt when you could be wearing Prada?
