when you first arrived at camp jupiter, you caught her attention. not only your looks, but your attitude. ability to speak without being scared. it wasn’t often they got people that show it that quickly, it intrigued her

so when you guys began dating, it stunned everyone at camp. you, outspoken and i afraid to speak your mind and reyna, formal and always working. how could that go wrong? the answer was in too many ways to understand.

reyna was constantly working, pretty much all day and you wanted her attention. how could you not? she was stunning, fun, and your girlfriend. but whenever you’d go to her, she’d brush you off. she only went to you when she wasn’t busy. it gets to a point where both of you give up.

this happened when you went to her for attention again, and it was her snapping point. she yelled at you, and broke it off with you. it might’ve just been hear of the moment things, but it felt like she genuinely didn’t like you anymore. so you walked out. why stay?

after that, you started seeing less of reyna. she seemed to lock herself in work more, stay away from everyone, and whenever you made eye contact with her, she would glance away immediately and have a… guilty expression? you didn’t even really understand it.

everything went in a spiral when you went to talk to her about something since you are the leader of your barrack. that’s when you see her slumped on her chair at her desk, head in hands, mumbling random slurred things to herself.

that’s when you spotted an empty bottle.

of alcohol.

you always knew she got stressed easily, but not to this extent. you crouched at the side of her “Reyna?” she responded in only slurred mumbles

you couldn’t just leave her there. so you dragged her over to your barrack, settling her into your bed as she snuggled into it immediately

“i missed this” she mumbled
