Living with Sherlock was never conventional. From the stories you've heard of his flatmate John Watson the flat is constantly a mess, the food you cook has a constant risk of being contaminated by whatever chemicals Sherlock works with and he's not afraid to ruin the flat's structure (which is apparent by the many bullet holes).

You met Sherlock quite some time ago. You fell for the enigmatic detective immediately. His charm and wit are to many obnoxious, but to you it was admirable. And perhaps even endearing.

But you and Sherlock are plain opposites. While Sherlock is factual, logical and socially closed off you are loving, affectionate and seeking romance. Although, that doesn't mean Sherlock doesn't have feelings for you.

Although he doesn't agree with it, his body and subconscious show definite signs of love for you. To him it's more of a nuisance than a genuine feeling, but he can't seem to ignore it. But if he has to love you, he wants to stick to the logic of it as much as possible.

So within weeks he proposed to you, arguing that it was the only logical step forward.

After the wedding you finally move in with him and John. Sherlock helps you move your belongings into the flat. Then he shows you around. Finally, he shows you the bedroom. Although it's a quite cozy room with a pretty view over the street, it's not.. his bedroom.

When you ask about it, he's not hesitant to reply. "I married you because I love you. I do not plan to act on that love or show it, so we do not need to share a bedroom. It'll only serve as a distraction, anyway."
