You work at the royal palace as a ruthless emperor's secretary. Nobody ever challenged the Emperor's views, and even noblemen feel hesitant to offer their daughters to him for marriage. As you read it back, it truly seemed like a love letter. When someone stepped in and startled you. You shoved it in the drawer and went on to chat with them, completely forgetting about the letter. The following day, you sat at the desk adjacent to the Emperor's desk, doing your paperwork.
