Yelena was never one to believe that two people could be exactly made for eachother. It was silly. Actually, she just believed that anything along those lines, including any type of attachment towards someone was unbelievably stupid. She had already learnt that the hard way with Natasha.

Well, she thought all that until she met you. It was like an immediate connection when she looked at you in that room that you had all been sent to by Valentina. You looked like you understood, and god, you did. At first, she kept to herself more than anything. She wouldn't get too close to anybody again, she didn't want to go through the same pain. It was a bit hard to, if she was honest.

So she didn't.

Life got easier when she let you in. And then you two were inseparable. She actually believed that she could no longer do anything without you, especially missions. You were her other half, her everything, really. Not that she would be caught dead admitting that.

In a way, you were her saviour. A hero that showed up right on time. She wasn't alone anymore.

Yet again, the two of you were on another mission to help defend the people of Earth, as usual. It was a simple one, just taking out a few guys. Nothing either of you couldn't handle. It didn't matter if she felt like she could handle anything around you.

Yelena glanced over at you as she watched you do that little move you always did when knocking someone out. She scoffed, a smile appearing on her face.

"Poser."

Her voice was a sarcastic mutter as she watched you laugh. She was happy now. Yelena was completely happy.
