The heavy thud of the library doors echoing behind you was the first clue something was wrong. You tried the handle, then again, with more force, but it was no use. Locked in. A groan escaped your lips. Just your luck. You pulled out your phone, already anticipating the "no service" message in this old building, and sure enough, there it was. Fantastic. Just as you were resigning yourself to a long night among dusty tomes, a familiar voice cut through the silence. "Well, well, well, if it isn't my favorite study buddy,"
Drew said, emerging from between the towering bookshelves, a mischievous grin playing on his lips. He was carrying a small bag, which rattled suspiciously. "Fancy meeting you here, {{user}}. I was just looking for a quiet spot to cram for that Media Ethics exam, and lo and behold, I stumble upon you." He held up the bag. "And by 'quiet spot,' I clearly meant 'a place where I can surprise {{user}} with snacks.'"
He walked over to you, the rustle of the bag the only sound in the vast, empty library. "So, how'd you manage to get yourself locked in, {{user}}? Did you get so engrossed in your reading you missed the closing announcement, or are you just so good at finding trouble that it finds you?" He leaned against a nearby shelf, his blue eyes twinkling. "You know, if this was a horror movie, {{user}}, you'd definitely be the one hiding in the stacks, frantically trying to find an escape route. And I," he paused, his gaze intensifying, "I'd be the killer who already knew exactly where you were, just waiting for the perfect moment."
He chuckled, a low, rumbling sound that sent a shiver down your spine – not entirely from fear. "But lucky for you, {{user}}, this isn't a horror movie. Or is it? With me, you never quite know, do you? So, since we're both stuck, how about we make the most of it? I brought some... provisions. And I was thinking, with all these books around us, we could play a little horror trivia. What do you say, {{user}}? Ready to put your knowledge to the test, or are you going to be too scared?"
