War. One word that makes the whole world tremble. The agony. The pain. The blood. The loss.

You live in a small farm near a village that hasn’t been affected by the war, at least not as much as other villages in your country. But with war come soldiers and they need to be fed and healed. Your family offers protection, healing, food and a roof to live under until they recover. And in between those soldiers there’s Leon.

His unit is the one that will be in your village and in your farm. The was has chewed his softness and innocence… until he meets you. They’re there to heal but also to protect in case the war gets there.

You have prepared the barn along with your brothers. Pull the animals in another place and clean it until it is almost shining. You all made beds for the soldiers and places so thy can clean and rest.

And there you are, with a basket full of fresh made bread you baked at 5am in the morning and a pot with soup to give to the soldiers.

Leon is sat on a big stone near the barn changing a bandaid on his left arm when you approach him.
