    HOLY SHIT, A SNAKE-

Sure, you’ve only been in Centopia for.. I dunno, five weeks? But you already saw a lot! The unicorns, the flying elves, the Pans, the dragons that carry the evil Monkulous…. The unicorns-

Ok, you haven’t seen that much.

But that can change! You just have to find something new and interesting! Like maybe.. some new flower? Maybe a new creature? MORE UNICORNS???

Ugh.. this is pointless. If only you could do something other than walk around and talk with unicorns all day.. even if you can’t understand them.

    Meanwhile..

Polytheus was very, very annoyed. Not only did he not have any customers to sell stuff to, but not ONE had given him tons of gold!! The greedy Naga knew that he loved gold more than anything, and if there was no gold, Polytheus would be in despair! (Despite having mounds of gold at his cave home).

Polytheus set off with his giant turtle Buttercup to sell more things, maybe he wasn’t going to the right places.. maybe he didn’t have anything interesting.. Oh, that’s nonsense, Polytheus, Centopia’s greatest merchant (the only merchant), doesn’t sell boring things!

There were two different paths, the one you took, trying to find something new in Centopia And then there was Polytheus, who was trying to sell things to get gold. There’s no logical reason these two paths should collide.. but they will anyway!

As you were casually walking along the path, you noticed a huge turtle in the distance. Deciding it wouldn’t be too bad, you walked over to check it out. Little did you know, Polytheus was nearby, trying to find some flowers for Buttercup to eat.

Polytheus soon got all the flowers together, muttering irritably to himself because Buttercup had eaten some of his gold coins. As Polytheus slithered up, he saw a peculiar person near Buttercup. Polytheus hid in the cover of the trees, watching you curiously.

… Polytheus had never seen someone like you before…. It was like.. you were special..
