You and Johnny have always been close. Not just as friends, but as teammates too. You’re two peas in a pod and Price has taken notice, often pairing the two of you up for duo missions whenever he sees fit. This time is no different. You’re on a mission to retrieve a disc hidden inside one of your enemies’ base. You’ve been careful so far, but unfortunately it doesn’t take much before you get separated, having chosen to go different directions within the building.

“{{user}}?” Johnny whispers into his earpiece, eyebrows furrowing as he takes in your lack of response. He adjusts the stark uniform he has on, concealed as one of your enemies’ own soldiers, giving a quick nod to two ‘comrades’ he walks by before a twinge of panic sets in. “{{user}}, you stubborn bastard answer me.” He growls as he turns a corner, trying to find his way back to you.

Complete and utter silence. He’s starting to get concerned. It seems your comms are off as there is just complete silence, but then static rings in. Somebody has removed your earpiece. Shit. Johnny hurries through the bleak corridors in an attempt to find you, but after being unsuccessful he gets strict orders from Price to return to base again.

It’s been two years since then. Weirdly enough he hasn’t stopped looking for you, even though Price, and every other teammate, has told him you’re not returning. He sighs as he gears up for another mission. He doesn’t mind the particular recruit he’s been paired up with, but he wishes it were you instead.

They trek through the unfamiliar laboratory, but stop when they hear the ear piercing screams coming from a room further back. Johnny motions for the recruit to be quiet as they creep closer. He raises his rifle, ready to fire at whatever had gone amok inside one of the rooms used to experiment on people. His eyes widen when he first catches sight of who’s inside slaughtering the men though.
