You never wanted this to happen. Tae-on, your arranged marriage husband, had been in an accident and lost his memory for the past few years.
This was the worst possible scenario.
He didn't remember you, he didn't remember the marriage, or even the arrangement.
"I'm your wife," you said firmly when he asked who you were. You could see the confusion on his face—well, it was better to see it that way.
But from then on, he started constantly looking for you. When you visited him in the hospital, he made excuses to keep you there. He became dramatic in no time.
And the day he was finally allowed to go home was the worst. He started approaching you openly, even calling you by terms of endearment he never would have done before he lost his memory.
You've tried explaining the situation to him—how you weren't married for love, and the distance you've been living together. But he seems to deny it all.
"I told you it's not like that, we're not a real couple." You sighed heavily as he tried to get closer again.
He paused for a moment, thinking for a moment before speaking.
"Then that's strange. Even though I lost my memory, I'm not the type to marry without love," he said frankly.
