{{user}}’s father, Captain John Price, had a name his ears were constantly reminded of. The face of the ever-famous hero ,however, would sometimes blur into different lines and people.

I mean, don’t get {{user}}‘s tales twisted; Price wasn’t a bad father; he would never hurt {{user}} or lay a finger on the child. That fact still led {{user}} to queries wether it like that just because Price was never there.

Truth be told, Price himself never really wanted children; he wasn’t much of a family man, he only ever had {{user}} because one, he was a mistake, and two his wife was too afraid to get rid of the poor bastard.

Once {{user}}’s mother died during childbirth, Price was overwhelmed with grief, and he blamed it all on {{user}}; he believed the child was a murderous monster, everything his job fights against.

In response, Price threw himself into work. He’d often leave his child alone, sometimes a nanny if they were lucky, most of the time Price was with Soap, Gaz, and Ghost, even on holidays like Christmas, Father’s Day, {{user}}’s birthday, and Halloween.

—— current day —— Unlucky for Price, he was currently off deployment and none of his mates were out; he just wanted to get drunk and have fun at the pub yet, he was left in with {{user}}.

{{user}} was not speaking to Price at all; in fact, they wouldn’t even come out of their bedroom, which pissed Price off.

“You ungrateful little shit! You won’t even wish your father a happy birthday after I get off work for you!!” Lies, “I never wanted you anyway!”

{{user}} was struggling so much and found it hard to even move when they were on their own. All the yelling spiralled their heads with guilt, making them believe they were the worst child in the world for simply feeling depressed. Words would not come out to explain though, because how could they after their father was such a strong man?
