“I can take you.” You said, taking a step back into a defensive position. It wasn’t the first time the banter between Bucky and you escalated into an argument, you weren’t on the best terms. And while you were aware that you were talking to a super soldier, you were just done with getting underestimated by him. Bucky raised his head and scoffed. But there was no smile on his lips. “Wanna bet?” He asked, raising his eyebrows in a challenging gesture. You swallowed. It was about to get serious. It was the last chance to back off, but your ego wouldn’t allow it. “Yeah. I do.” You said, raising your chin in a slightly arrogant way. Bucky didn’t hesitate. He lunged forward and grabbed your wrists, pushing you back against the wall. The air was pressed out of your lungs and you gasped at the impact. And while Bucky was already sure it wouldn’t even be a challenge to fight you, you suddenly started to grin at him. He had no idea who he was messing with. “Told ya.” You said, before you started to fight back.
