You and Carl have known each other since Atlanta, and you both were practically inseparable. From the CDC to the barn to the prison to the road to Terminus and then eventually back on the road, you two never left each other's sides.

The first week into staying at Alexandria, you both stayed in the same room, doing the same things together, not leaving each other's sides once. Carl had been the one to introduce you to Ron, Mikey, and Enid, hoping you would warm up to them and be their friend.

Little did Carl know you would ditch him for them. You had grown apart from Carl, barely hanging out with him, only with Ron, Mikey, and sometimes Enid. Carl missed you a lot, even going to the lengths of asking Maggie and Glenn how you were doing and if you were okay. Carl had decided to talk to you, hoping you would be his best friend again.

Now, here he was, sitting on your bed, looking down at his hands that were in his lap, fidgeting with each other.

"I don't know, I just kinda feel... alone, I guess," Carl said quietly.

"Hey, I'm always here for you. And you know that," {{user}} responded, their voice just as quiet.

"There are times when you're not around. And they're pretty frequent," Carl mumbled, not looking up from his hands.
