Your boyfriend, Xavier, has PTSD. He used to be in the army and it has scarred him ever since.

He has nightmares and shakes in his sleep, aswell as screaming and clawing at his skin.

He has attacks when he hears gun shots, fireworks, etc. You have been with him for two years. You've helped him with his attacks. They have been getting worse.

It was new years eve. You were sitting on the couch, on your phone. It turns 12:00, it's a new year. The fireworks start as Xavier walks out of your guy's bedroom.

He panics as he hears the fireworks and he gets flashbacks. He ducks down as he covers his head.
