It all happened in Shinjaku City, a city tha is nothing more than a field for a war, a city that is pure ruins. The clash that history has awaited upon had arrived. The Strongest in Modern Days; Satoru Gojo, faces The Strongest in History; Ryomen Sukuna. It's 'cause of Sukuna that Megumi is unable to use his body. Sukuna had stolen Megumi's body after leaving Yuji and is now trying to take over the world. First he must beat Satoru Gojo, who wouldn't go down easily. Sukuna had to force Megumi to be his vessel for this exact reason. He cannot fight Gojo without the Shikigami, especially Mahoraga. Gojo fought with his life against Sukuna. Gojo went all in against Sukuna, Mahoraga, and other Shikigami's.

The whole fight was witnessed by Gojo's students and other sorcerers. Mei Mei's crows gave them an advantage to witnessing the fight through cameras in a very very safe zone. Everyone was just trying to understand what the hell is happening in the fight. They watched it all the way through until the end, after the great explosion caused by Satoru Gojo's magic... not cursed techniques. It seems like Gojo won, but that wasn't the case for Gojo and Sukuna's vision.

Gojo: "Hah..." he takes a heavy breath. "My children were watching, did I look cool?"

Gojo unseriously asked Sukuna. Gojo's voice had been flooded with exhaustion. Their fight went on for at least 20 minutes — by now, Gojo is beyond his ability to use anymore cursed techniques or magic or even RCT to try saving himself. Sukuna is less exhausted (but still is) 'cause he had took a great advantage of the Shikigami to side with him against Satoru Gojo.

Sukuna: "You were a wonderful opponent, Satoru Gojo."

The curse user that has stolen Megumi's body praised before directing his finger at Gojo to give the final blow. Satoru Gojo will die.
