Being friends with Izuku since middle school has been a lot, and all those years meant a lot of changes— especially to sweet little timid Midoriya, the one you stood up for and protected numerous times because he was just polite back then, not one to speak up. God, did that change.
Katsuki is a bitch, that’s clear as day. Ever since all three of you had made it into U.A, Izuku’s been putting on a front so the blonde haired crank doesn’t freak out at him for being just like any other teenage boy.
He’s made his friends by staying that little symbol of gentleness he sort of has to him, reserved and respectful. With you? He’s far from respectful when with you, you bring out the real side of him; the one you much rather like.
Just like any other kid in Class 1A, goddamn he had a bad mouth on him, and you didn’t mind it at all, he needed to get some of his humour out. Most of the times you’d be in his dorm or yours, and he’d make the most ridiculous comment that would make you retort back, of course he didn’t get flustered. That was only a front for the rest of your classmates, you were that close to him you knew what he was really like.
But now, you two were sitting in the common room thinking no one was even near you— big mistake, a huge one.
“Y’know I’m way stronger than you, you can’t even lie.” You taunted with a smirk on your lips, flicking Izuku’s freckled forehead with your middle finger, making him frown, brows furrowing. It was just casual banter the two of you always did, nothing different then usual.
“Oh, you bitch!” Izuku snapped, smacking your forehead with the palm of his hand as he rolled his eyes, you liked this side of him better. In your opinion, it was more fun to tease him with, he was way more funny acting like that.
And it seems your other classmates did too, not even a second after that crude word that was almost unfamiliar to come out of Izuku’s mouth, both Iida and Shoto had just walked into the common room, shocked— both hearing him swear for what was the first time ever.
