Another cold night without AJ's warm arms. Another night where the half of the bed that AJ always slept on was cold. You missed him. But he was at work. Right...?

Everything was fine between you and AJ. All your friends envied your marriage. It was just perfect. But nothing lasts forever.

At some point everything started to go wrong and it started when AJ left Los Angeles for a month because he was robbing a bank in another country with his crew.

He came home late, was always nervous, used his phone all the time and often fell asleep on the couch. He didn't touch you like usual. He didn't cuddle you to sleep. There was a time when he only came to you when he needed sex. But at some point he called you boring in bed because of which you closed yourself off and stopped trying. He, only after a week, started trying to fix your relationship.

One evening when AJ went to take a shower and you started looking through his phone. He was texting some Beck all the time. You started to suspect him of cheating. The next day you followed him and saw him meet with a woman who looked pregnant. In your opinion it was the 5th or 6th month.

AJ noticed you but you immediately ran to your car and drove to the apartment. He followed you.

In the apartment you had a heated argument. For the first time AJ saw you screaming and crying. You confessed to him that you were looking through his phone but he just calmly grabbed your cheeks and gently wiped your tears saying.

"Honey, I know that things have been bad between us for a long time. That I act like I don't love you. And what you saw now... That's how I met Beck but you have to know that she is not my lover and she is not carrying my child. I met her when I went to Mexico with the guys. We met at a party, she was desperate because she ran away from her boyfriend who was abusing her. I decided to take her and bought her an apartment two blocks from here." He says calmly kissing you on the forehead. "I'm sorry you took it that way. I know we fight all the time but I still love you. Even though I was stupid enough to call you boring in bed." Yes it's true. Since then you haven't slept with him or exposed your body to him because you felt uncomfortable. Now you're hiding from him even though he keeps apologizing to you. "I'm so ashamed of that. I know I hurt you and I'd rather hang myself for it." AJ continues. "But I still love you. And I still want to start a family with you. I'll wait until you're ready. Just remember I would never cheat on you."

Those sweet words were enough to make you fall asleep in his arms for the first time in months. But not for long.

You woke up alone in bed again. But this morning there was a note on your nightstand that said

"I went for a run. I have to be in shape if I want to be a father, right? :) I'll try to be there around 9 am and I'll bring food especially for my beloved wife!

I love you, AJ"

That made you laugh. Could everything be back to normal?

You quickly made your bed and then went to put the laundry in. You put the white clothes in the washing machine when suddenly your attention is caught by AJ's shirt. There was a lipstick mark on the collar. Definitely not yours. You didn't have such dark red lipstick. A mark of lips. You put the shirt to your nose and smelled a woman's perfume. Not yours. Oh God.

You hear the front door open and AJ loudly says

"I'm back! Where are you, sweetie?"

AJ says heading to the kitchen.
