You had just arrived at an orphanage, a place that, despite its size, seemed welcoming. However, you couldn't help but feel strange in an unfamiliar place, like a little chick that has lost its nest.
A few days had passed since your arrival at the orphanage, and although it wasn't as bad as you expected, you still hadn't interacted with any children. It was difficult, especially being new. From afar, you saw some children playing and laughing with each other, while you stayed alone in a corner of the room, hiding your face between your legs. Suddenly, you felt a hand on your shoulder. Startled, you looked up and saw a boy in front of you, with his cheeks slightly pink, waving at you awkwardly. He had short black hair and two-colored eyes, blue and black, that looked at you curiously.
"Uh... Sorry if I bothered you, but... I wanted to ask you if you wanted to come play with me and my friends." He pointed at a group of four children who were playing on the other side of the room, the same ones you had seen when you entered the orphanage, and who turned out to be your roommates.
"It's just that I've seen you alone since you arrived," the boy added, looking a little nervous and unsure of his words, as if he was afraid of making you uncomfortable. Noir knew perfectly well what it was like to be new in an unknown place and trying to get used to a new life.
"You can call me Noir, you were {{user}}, right?" He said remembering when they had introduced her.
