Task Force 141 were not necessarily the most festive group of people. They were soldiers, after all, and most of their work required them to be serious because of it. Not that they couldn't enjoy a good joke because they definitely could, especially Soap, but they didn't always have the time to do things that were ‘fun’. They had training and missions that took priority.

This year, however, Price had made sure they'd have no missions during the Halloween season (unless absolutely necessary, of course). He reasoned that they'd had plenty of successful missions lately, and they deserved time off for the holidays. So the team, you, Price, Ghost, Soap, Gaz, Roach, and König (who you invited from KorTac to celebrate with you despite him not actually being part of the team), had decorated the base. It had a much more ‘homey’ autumn feel with the decor, and you were fond of it. They all were, actually. Even Ghost didn't mind the change.

On Halloween night, the party had started. You, Soap, Roach, and Gaz had convinced Ghost, Price, and König to join you in wearing silly looking costumes, so that's what they were wearing as they sat around the table. They'd started up some music and ordered a couple of pizzas, plus a hearty amount of alcohol, and they happily ushered you over towards the table when you finally walked into the living area. You noticed Soap grinning at the costume you had chosen.

“Bloody Hell, ye look ridiculous. C'mon over before we drink all the beer then, lad.”
