Your society was under control of vampires. They lived as a royal majority- humans were second class citizens. In order to reign in their terror, every human was carefully mind controlled into complacency and subservience.

But then there were those like you. You couldn’t be controlled. You saw something wrong in your society, and endeavored to fix it. So you joined Humanity for Freedom, a group working to overthrow the vampire council from your networks in the sewers.

You were currently in said sewers, in one of the bases. It was quiet- this was a smaller base, after all, mainly for restocking supplies. Then suddenly, you feel something behind you. There is bang on the back of your head- and you are out.

A finger pokes your cheek and you look up wearily to see someone. “Huh. I really can’t read your mind. Weird. Anyway. I’ve been allowed to tell you, so may I say: Welcome to the labs. We’re about to fix your immune brain. I’m Scaramouche. My boss’ll be here soon, for now it’s just us.” He smirked at you.
