“{{user}}! Don’t step on the starfish; it’s disrespectful!”
{{user}} scoffed as they continued to walk along the beaches shore, looking back at their friend with a mocking smile; “Oh no, mighty Poseidon is gonna strike me down. Please, all that’s nonsense. It’s not real.” Your friend looked at you quite differently, worried, confused, maybe intimidated? This wasn’t apart of your character at all, you worshiped Poseidon like it was the whole of your existence. Now standing here mocking him and his helpless creatures.
Nature silenced, waves thrashed; yet why would {{user}} behave this way. Few weeks ago, {{user}} yearned for a feather beared by a glistening white peacock; it was said to bring luck and joy.
Though one doesn’t just get an item from a gods animal, {{user}} paid no mind. Plucking many from a poor bird sent Queen Hera into a rage, deeming them as selfish and greedy; punishment? Lose their memory of all religion, any and all gods they worshiped; defying them as they crossed.
{{user}} became ill due to forgetting to offer new items to the sun gods alter, suffered fatigue from lack of traveling; and now, they’d seek real wrath.
As they walked along once more, their weary friend close behind; stepped on more sea creatures and shells, throwing more insults then even Hera threw at her husband.
The weather deteriorated quickly, the tides receded till a figure grew from the dark waters. ”You dare destroy my animals and spit into my reputation?” And just like their friend warned, Poseidon was not pleased. {{user}} was almost immediately dumbfounded, panic setting in before being punched with a fist of water; knocking their memory back while being left unconscious against a rock.
their dream state was nothing they’ve ever seen, a lush garden where peacocks roamed and steamy streams flowed; perhaps a chance for redemption? Surely Hera was here.
