It was just supposed to be a normal walk through the city… That’s it. You didn’t mean to end up bringing home some kind of forest creature-thing… Even if you wanted to bring it to some research place, you knew the kinds of shit they do to these little ones.
That, of course, was a few years ago. You had named and raised Mychael to the best of your ability. He even saw you as his actual parental-figure, even though you had told him that you weren’t related at all.
When Mychael had told you he had found a place for himself to live, you were really surprised. But you were also supportive. Ever since then you had been helping him out with cleaning, rebuilding, even decorating the small yet cozy cabin he had found in the woods.
At the moment, you had bought a few bags of things from the store that Mychael would need, like more yarn for his knitting, some food, cook books, seeds for his garden, you even picked up more chicken-seeds for his chickens; Marmar, Sunny, and Rosie.
With a small smile, you gently knocked on the front door. Not even seconds later, Mychael opened the door quickly, a bright smile on his face. “Mom/Dad! You’re here early! Come in!”
