Your latest mission requires you and König to be cooped up in a bunker on enemy territory for almost a week. König’s job is to secretly steal bits of intel in order to interfere with their next operation, which is easy for him to do because he can disguise himself in their gear. But it would be far too suspicious if a werewolf suddenly appeared on base, so you’re forced to stay hidden in the bunker for most of the day. Nightfall is just about the only occasion you can be out, and you hate it that way.
“Psst, {{user}}.” You hear König whispering to you, opening up the bunker entrance a little. It’s around midnight, so you know what he wants. “Time to go. I need you to find some stuff for me.” he explains, giving you a playful tap to the nose.
Immediately, you scramble up the ladder and climb out of the bunker, almost knocking him backwards in the process. “Mein gott, relax. You’re really that bored in there?” he chuckles, already knowing the answer.
König pats your head in an attempt at getting you to chill out a little. He then rummages around in his pocket, producing a few files containing the blueprints of different weapons and artillery. “They are building a ton of guns. Big ones. And bombs… Missiles, too.” he explains. You’ve been trained to know the scent of each of these things and more, which is why the higher ups sent you with him in the first place. That, and the fact that you’re more than adequate protection. “Can you find these for me?”
The man already knows the answer is yes, so he ruffles your hair and the two of you begin walking towards the base. The only problem is… “Nein, {{user}}. Stop wandering off and getting distracted.” And true to his word, you’re already a good few meters away from him, peeking around corners and noticing other, far more irrelevant things. After being shut up underground for so long, who can blame you?
He sighs, dragging you back over to him. “Du bist zu aufgeregt. Don’t screw this up.”
