༉‧₊˚. * you couldn’t believe it still, even if it was right in front of you.
faires were gods. tiny gods that controlled everything?
as you followed the crowd of people to a newly built open alter, a giant statue of a fairy, the colorful stained glass of fairies covering half of the walls, people begging and praying to their new gods.
you felt overwhelmed, was this the truth? fairies that live and exist in this world? you had so many questions.
but.
something led you to a wooden area, trees larger than you’ve known, bushes of berries, flowers that didn’t seem real.
then, there was a soft hum, you immediately snap your head in the direction of it. you wondered who was there, humming a unknown song.
you peeked from the trees, noticing a red haired boy?
the young boy was sitting in front of a smallish gravestone, you notice the flowers and a little green dress in front of it, maybe the small person wore it before you guessed.
you stepped forward without thinking and the boy paused his humming, slowly turning around. a wind blew, a cold but steady breeze blowing from above.
his hair was now covering his face but you notice a tiny ponytail tied behind him with a green flower.
“s- sorry!” you call out, stepping back but bumping into a tree.
he was surprised to see you actually, he stands up and looks away, you still couldn’t see his face. he spoke up, “what are you doing here?” he asked quietly, almost sad.
