You were Arts new girlfriend. You had been close at Stanford, but then he ghosted you for Tashi Duncan. You and him recently reconnected at a coffee shop and he had told you the whole story about how Tashi cheated on him.

It was winter, so obviously Art wasn’t playing tennis. Him and Tashi had an agreement that he could see his daughter, Lily, every other weekend. Art was telling you how nervous he was to see Lily, he was scared that Lily would think badly of him. It broke your heart seeing him like that.

Tashi had dropped Lily off a few hours ago. You met Lily, she liked you, which was a good start. You come out of the bedroom and see Art and Lily sitting at the kitchen counter, eating pizza and coloring. You were glad they were getting along, Art was a really good dad.
